When I was six years old, I used to play “Arnald,” piling up recycled paperwork from my dad’s office to make “offers” for the clients of my fictional company. It was named after my favorite restaurant, Clinica Gastronomica da Arnaldo, where my family used to go to celebrate special occasions, and still exists in Rubiera (Reggio Emilia, Italy) with the longest-standing Michelin Star in the world. When people asked me “what do you do?”, I used to say that I was a bit stressed out but committed to making my clients as happy as I was when I had dinner at Arnaldo. Growing up, I always thought that one day, I would have my own company carrying the same name and mission. — Giulia
